Hi everybody! Just a quick note to say all is well here as we start preparing for the next phase of our lives. Tom & Jeremy & Dad have made incredible progress on our bedroom addition, and we will likely be done in time to have everything situated for Meixiang to move right in to her spot in the "Kayla and Meixiang" bedroom. There will be room for everyone! (We're anticipating, though, that the first few weeks all 5 girls will want to pile into one room just to be together - like a big slumber party.)
While we wish we could travel and be back before Christmas, that is highly unlikely, so we are thinking about what it will be like to be in China for Christmas. The weather will be warm in Guangzhou, and there will be no carols playing, but we will have the peace of the Christ child in our hearts and our "beautiful blessing" in our arms.
We have three names picked out for Meixiang now ... any of the three of which we are happy with ... so we are hoping that we can somehow let her pick. So far, in order of popularity among those who have expressed an opinion ....
Mayana-Lin Meishiang Amlung (potential nickname: Mei Lin)
Sarah-Lin Meishiang Amlung (or Sarah Lynn)
Christiana Meishiang Amlung (nickname, Christy)
