We are starting to realize, "Oh my goodness. We're actually adopting
an 8 year old! To think that when we first started we were arguing
between a 2/3 year old and a 4/5 year old ... and then, we found
Meixiang and thought, "Seven?' That's so old!" And the photo was
taken when she was six! My, how she has grown!!
We're so excited, though ... just wanting to jump on a plane today and
go grab her.
We have found out some updated information. Meixiang is now just a tad taller than her big sister, Grace, but still a few pounds lighter than her little sister, Lia. It will be interesting seeing how she fits into the clothing we have for her.
We are praying that we get to leave on 12-12 - her birthday. It would be so fitting! Plus it would fit so well into our schedule (particularly Tom's work schedule!) It's still possible, assuming we get our travel approval next week. Thanks for your prayers!!

I'm getting so excited for you guys. At least you have older daughters to help get her through the "homesick" stage.
