We are ready to hear good news ... any day now ... of our "letter of acceptance" (LOA) from China. But our agency has experienced a slow down recently, and LOAs are coming later than before. We don't know how this will affect us, but we certainly hope that it is only a small aberration and that China will get back on track soon! Please pray with us that nothing will keep us from getting Mei Xiang at exactly the right time - God's timing!
Today I learned of someone who is about 15 days ahead of us in line, so to speak, who hasn't yet received their LOA. These things don't always go in order, but it is a little discouraging to think that we could be another 15 days+ away from LOA. The timing after LOA is usually 6-8 weeks until travel. (With Lia it was between 6 and 7 weeks.)
