Update received from the orphanage!

Mao Mei Xiang—7-18-08

"She is now 119cm (almost 47”) in height and weighs 21kg (46 lbs). Her head circumference is 50cm (almost 20”) and chest circumference is 56cm (22”). Her feet length is 20cm. She is taking preschool classes in Little Sister School sponsored by Half Sky. Classes include language, perception, music, dance and physical exercise. She is doing fine in the school. She can count up to 100. She can do addition and deduction within 10. She can write 50 Chinese characters. She knows colors. She can tell square shape, star, heart, triangle and circle. She is very outgoing. She always likes to help. Every body loves her. Please see attached photos."
