Another of Mei Xiang's friends was adopted early this week in China. Another good-bye. Zai-jian, in Mandarin. I hope that Mei Xiang is handling all these good-byes okay. I heard from Mei Ru's family, here in the states now, that Mei Ru got excited when she saw the adoption pics of MeiNa. And she actually asked her parents, "Mei Xiang coming to America, too?"
Mei Ru was apparently Mei Xiang's best friend. It's exciting to hear about these girls communicating their feelings in a way that American parents can understand - already! It's only been less than 2 weeks since they came home! (Mei Na is the other pony-tailed girl in the pic below - the orange, blue, and white striped shirt.) And it's great to know that these friends will all be in America together. (I hope there aren't too many left behind in this particular class of kids in this orphanage! I don't know if there's any way to know.)
